The Taxpayer Budget Review Boards of Florida was formed in 2008 to study the budgets of both governments and recommend changes to our elected officials. While consolidation was studied as recently as 2006, that study was influenced by special interests and prepared at a time when budget concerns were not so urgent.
The TBRB will study each function of government and consider every method to achieve greater efficiency. We will rely on previous studies done in Cities like San Diego and Indianapolis where the community saw savings of 20-50% through ideas like managed competition, consolidation, and other innovative management techniques.
The Board is all volunteer and there are no special interests represented. We encourage all taxpayers to give us their recommendations for effective change and welcome participants in the process.
